| Virtual Chat |
|
Virtual chat services have long been established in PRS. They were initially the first type of service to be set up after the demise of the original 0898 services. There is no neccessity to have a live 121 licence when operating these services and this is the main benefit of this service type.
We offer two types of virtual chat.
1) Walkie talkie Chat – this is similar to live chat but is not immediately interactive. The conversation is switched between Caller and Operator by pressing the star (*) key and is non interruptible.
2) Message Exchange – this is traditionally used as a virtual chat application, where callers and Operators send recorded messages to each other. |
